Pansexuality is a sexual orientation, distinct from bisexuality and characterized by potential aesthetic attraction, romantic love and sexual desire for anybody, including those people who don't fit into the gender binary of male/female implied by bisexual attraction. It is sometimes described as the capacity to love a person romantically, irrespective of gender. Some pansexuals go so far as to claim that gender and sex are meaningless to them.

Gant tud zo e vez graet an diforc'h etre hollreviadezh (saozneg: transgender) hag an hollreizhadezh (transexual):
Some transgendered, transsexual, and intersex people describe themselves as "pansexual", having an intimate understanding of the many degrees between the masculine and the feminine. However, this should not be seen as a generalization, as transsexual people may identify as straight or gay based on their biological, perceived, or corrected sex, and non-transsexual people may also find themselves attracted to individuals across the sexual spectrum. It has also been used, with debate, to describe those with a pedophilic orientation that is not child-exclusive in its attraction.fact Meaning, the sexual attraction is felt by the pedosexual in varying strong degrees for both children and adults of the opposing gender, the same gender, or both genders.

It has also been claimed that pansexuality refers not to a metaphysical order of attraction to other human beings but rather, a more carnal attraction to sexual acts in general and irrespective of gender.

Pangender is a term for people who feel that they cannot be labeled as male or female in gender. These people feel that they are; mixed gender, identify equally with "both" genders, are both male and female, feel that they are genderless or feel that they are some other gender all together. The term is meant by the queer community to be one that is inclusive and means "all genders".

Unlike transsexual Pangendered individuals are happy living "in between" and have no desire to live exclusively as one gender or the other.
Whereas sex refers to someone's anatomy, gender is more about someone's sexual identification or orientation. Gender refers to the roles and qualities that society associates with being either male or female.

In some cases, these individuals are able to live with the majority of the physical characteristics they were born with, but frequently displays the outward appearance, behavior and/or clothing of the opposite gender. In other cases, they were born with both sets of genitalia. Pangendered individuals are happy living "in between" and have no desire to live exclusively as one gender or the other. Problems arise with pangendered individuals because often gender identification is so closely intertwined with sexual gratification making it a difficult subject to talk freely about. Because of the sexual aspect it can become easy for others to dismiss them as "fetishists" and ignore the gender identification aspects of their make up.
