Español: Retrato del aristócrata español Juan Francisco de Pimentel (1584-1652), X conde y VII duque de Benavente y también conde de Mayorga y de Luna. El retratado aparece de más de medio cuerpo, revestido con una armadura y acompañado por numerosas insignias, como el fajín rojo y la bengala, que demuestran el alto rango que ostentaba en el ejército español, así como el collar de la Orden del Toisón de Oro, de la que era caballero. La mayoría de los autores dan por cierto que Velázquez pintó este retrato, aunque algunos han puesto en duda esa afirmación.
