Description: In May 1930, British aviator Amy Johnson landed in Darwin, later Brisbane, after having flown nearly 14,000 kilometres in just under 20 days. Johnson was attempting to beat Australian Aviator, Bert Hinkler's record of London to Australia in 15 ½ days.
